Hi

I have downloaded some files from the downloads section (InterProScan 5 analysis of L. salmonis peptides) unzipped them and have tried opening them with two different versions of Excel (2010 and 2016) in two different desktop computers. Every time I get a message saying that the file is too big to open and I either get a partial file where I can't seem to find my genes/peptides of interest or I get an empty sheet with no information. I've scoured the internet for possible solutions but from what I can gather, the file is just too big (or the computer's available memory too low) to be used in the computer(s) I have.

Is there a solution for this? Maybe you could divide the original file into several smaller ones?

What I am trying to achieve with this is basically finding all genes of interest that contain 2, 3 or 4 predicted domains simultaneously. This seemed the best option I had to do that but its been quite frustrating and time consuming to get this information from these files.
