Experiment Description: 

This experiment was a double gene knockdown experiment: several candidate genes were targeted via dsRNA injection at the Start Date and a second round of injections followed (22.10.2018). Efficacy of Knockdown refers to the relative expression of gene EMLSAT00000005702 in 22.10.18. Three (3) animals were collected (and terminated) at this time to measure gene KD. No pictures were taken of these animals but no phenotype was readily visible. Uploaded images correspond to 5 of the animals that were collected in 30.10.18 - these animals underwent 2 dsRNA injection, the first targeting the previously mentioned target (01.10.18) and the second one targeting EMLSAT00000010881 (22.10.18). Efficacy of Knockdown refers to the relative expression of gene EMLSAT00000005702 in 22.10.18. Three (3) animals were collected (and terminated) at this time to measure gene KD. No pictures were taken of these animals but no phenotype was readily visible. The "Number of Individuals (End)" will reflect the number of animals that survived up at this date (22.10.18): 13.

Surviving animals (13 - 3 terminated animals=10) were then injected with a second dsRNA fragment (F149) targeting EMLSAT00000010881 (22.10.2018). Gene Knockdown for this gene was measured in 30.10.18 (termination date):

- Surviving animals: 10

- Efficacy of Knockdown for EMLSAT00000010881 was 84%.

All images submitted in this form are from animals collected at termination (30.10.18) which were then transferred to RNAlater and used to measure the KD of gene EMLSAT00000010881. Knockdown of gene 5702 was not measured at this point. The pictured animals have underwent two dsRNA injections (fragment F394 followed by fragment F149).
